Two men from Waterloo Region charged in break and enter near Guelph

A man from Kitchener and another from Waterloo are facing charges in connection with a break and enter at a business in Guelph-Eramosa Township.

Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a break and enter in progress on Side Road 14, just before 3 a.m. on Saturday, September 14.

During a search of a vehicle, parked near the business, officers found break and enter tools, as well as copper wire and copper fittings.

Two suspects were eventually tracked through a nearby bush by the canine unit.

Joseph Yateman, 39, of Kitchener, is facing multiple charges including theft under $5,000. He is due in court in October.

Maxwell Gerald Kirkwood, 29, of Waterloo, faces similar charges and is being held for a bail hearing.
