They did it again.

The KW Titans closed out another tight victory on home court Sunday afternoon, dispatching the Moncton Magic 103-98 at The Aud.

Joel Friesen came off the bench to drop a game-high 25 points, 11 of them in the fourth quarter, in the win.  Justin Strings came through with an 18 point afternoon, and was flirting with a double-double, collecting nine rebounds.

The Titans also made the most of their trips to the free throw line, shooting at 80 per cent (24-for-30).  For a comparison, Moncton went to the line 17 times, nabbing 14 points.

The Magic took a two-point lead into the second quarter.  But that was when KW had their best 12 minutes, spreading the ball around and the Titans were up by an even dozen at halftime.

Moncton brought that deficit to one going into the fourth, and made a game of it.

But KW managed to hold off the visitors to remain the hottest team in NBL Canada, winning their fifth game in a row.

The Titans now sit at 8-5 on the year, second in NBL Canada's Central Division.

The Saint John Riptide come to town Thursday evening.  Tip off from The Aud goes at 7:00 p.m.
