This free carnival experience is one that the region has grown incredibly fond of over its 31 years in our community.
Randy Warren, Chair of the Waterloo Busker Carnival, says the key to the festival is to have fun and participate when possible.
"You see something unusual, something unique, something different, that you're amazed or in awe of, certainly don't feel afraid to clap and cheer. Show the performers you appreciate their entertainment."
Waterloo Mayor, Dave Jaworsky describes buskers as true family friendly entertainment.
"There's going to be magic, fire juggling, fire hula hoops, and a contortionist who can fit herself into a 16 inch box. There will be things that you will never see again."
These are only a few of the exciting shows you can see today through to Sunday.
In addition to the carnival-like atmosphere complete with a midway and delicious food, buskers has some brand new acts this year, including an epic fire show.
You can find the full schedule with all of the performers here.
