Public Health has confirmed another COVID-19 case in a local school.

On Tuesday night, a positive case was reported in a staff member at Moffat Creek Public School in Cambridge.

According to the Waterloo Region District School Board, the employee was last in the building on Friday.

Public Health is notifying any high-risk contacts of the positive case, including those in the worker’s cohort and a few additional staff members. They will be asked to self-isolate.

The new case is the third detected in a local public school staff member since the start of the month. The others were at KCI in Kitchener and Edna Staebler Public School in Waterloo.
