Using an abundance of caution, Kitchener summer day camps are reopening.
The city says spots are still available for children between four and 11 years old.
These programs are being offered at select community centres in that city including, Forest Heights, Stanley Park, Country Hills, and Victoria Hills.
Each location will cater to five to six different groups, and staff have adapted programming to respect physical distancing and public health guidelines.
Each day, camp will include active and quiet games, exercises that encourage making new friends, and opportunities to be creative.
Every camper will also be provided with their own craft supply kit that won't be shared with others.
Camps start on July 13, and there is a two week registration limit per camper.
Parents or guardians can register using ActiveNet.
