A protest over cuts to Ontario's Legal Aid funding is set for Kitchener City Hall this morning.

Waterloo Region Community Legal Services and Ahwenehaode - Indigenous Justice will be setting up a pop-up legal information clinic.

They hope to educate people about the work they do in helping people in the region access legal services they couldn't otherwise afford.

The Ford Government earlier in April released their budget which saw a number of cuts to various provincial organizations, programs and funds, including Legal Aid Ontario.

30 per cent of Legal Aid Ontario's budget was cut, amounting to a reduction of $133 million.

The protest goes from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with speakers set for noon.
