Police still looking for man who made inappropriate comments to minors

They're also looking for a woman who first reported the alleged incident to staff at Conestoga Mall

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate an incident that occurred at Conestoga Mall on Friday, January 4 at around 8 p.m.

They allege a man, who was in a wheelchair, made inappropriate comments to two young girls who were standing outside the Zehr's, near a photo booth.

Police want to speak with a woman who first reported the alleged incident to staff, as well as anyone else who may have witnessed anything.

Suspect description:

  • man, white and in his 60's
  • heavy set with short grey hair
  • was wearing dark clothing
  • his wheelchair had a pole attached to it with a red flag at the top
