Police seize almost 30 rifles from Waterloo home (2 photos)

A man, 24, is facing several charges

Waterloo Regional Police have seized 29 rifles and more than 2,000 rounds of ammunition.

It follows the execution of search warrant at a residence on Phillip Street in Waterloo on Tuesday, October 9.

Police say most of the firearms and ammunition were from the World War II era.

A Waterloo man, 24, has been charged with unsafe storage of a firearm and careless storage of ammunition.
