Waterloo Regional Police have released footage of a person of interest following an alleged sexual assault in Kitchener.
The reported incident happened Friday shortly after 8 a.m.
Police said it was in the area of the Delta Street pathway, near Sydney and Charles Street.
A female victim said she was sexually assaulted, and the suspect was last seen running toward King Street East.
He is described as being around 5'7'', with a slim to medium build, and may have facial hair. He was wearing a blue surgical mask, black pants, a dark coloured hoodie, and multi-coloured gloves.
The investigation is ongoing and police have appealed for tips from witnesses, and for any surveillance footage of the area to be submitted.
Police released video of a male on Friday night and said they would like to speak with him in connection with the incident.
