Police catch driver going 123km/h in a 60 zone in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police were on the lookout for speedy drivers this morning and within minutes, nabbed one. 

Regional Police say within five minutes of setting up in the Fischer-Hallman Road and Columbia Street area of Waterloo, they caught a driver allegedly going 123 km/h in a 60 zone. 

The driver's vehicle and licence was seized on the spot. 

The driver was charged with stunt driving. 

Police urge motorists to obey speed limits, and remind all drivers that road safety is everyone's responsibility.
