A pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being hit by a GO bus Friday night.
Metrolinx confirmed the incident happened around 7 p.m. Friday as the bus left the Smart Centre on Hespeler Road.
Witnesses on the scene allege that the bus had just gotten a green light, and turned the corner without noticing the pedestrian.
"So, the crosswalk turned for the guy to walk, right? And the bus didn't even see the guy, just ran right into him," said one witness.
"That bus took the corner way too fast, that man was only about six feet out of the sidewalk and he got sideswiped by the bus," said another.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital as a precaution.
There's no word on charges at this time.
