The seniors at Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care Residence have received an early gift from Santa To Seniors.
On Thursday, paramedics from the organization delivered 62 tray tables to help provide a place for residents to eat their meals.
According to a Tweet from Santa To Seniors, staff at the long-term care home were touched by the community's 'quick and generous response' to this need.
The gift was made possible by donations from residents and members of CUPE5191.
Santa To Seniors is a community gift drive organized by the Region of Waterloo and Brant paramedics, with the aim of bringing Santa to seniors to nursing homes who don't have families.
