Ontario enters Step One of the province's 'Roadmap to Reopen' plan on Friday.
Adam Cole is operator of Kentucky Bourbon and Barbecue and The Prohibition Warehouse in Waterloo and said patios at both establishments will open at 12:02 a.m.
"We've had a lot of interest and a lot of people asking. If the people want to come out - we'll do our best to accommodate."
Cole said it will be first-come, first-serve - and he's expecting a line-up after midnight.
It's not just customers who are anxious either.
"Everybody's super excited to get back to work and see all the friendly and familiar faces that we usually have around," said Cole.
Cole said they've been hard at-work for the past few months in preparation for reopening, "We've been waiting for this for about three months, building out the patios."
If you're going to hit one of their patios, be prepared to follow public health protocols - like wearing a mask and keeping a safe distancing.
Both patios will be open until 2 a.m., before reopening again Friday at noon.
