Regional police are advising residents to be cautious while driving after over 1,800 traffic-related offences were issued in July.
On Sunday, the Waterloo Regional Police Tweeted that officials gave out 1,892 charges last month for various offences, including 682 speeding incidents, 209 aggressive driving incidents, 56 distracted driving incidents and six impaired driving incidents.
Prior to this Tweet, police also Tweeted about three individuals being arrested for impaired driving within a two hour period on Saturday night.
Drivers are being asked to slow down, focus on the road, buckle up and drive sober.
In both Tweets, the WRPS say 'Your community, your choice.'
