Ontario Provincial Police say there have been a rash of incidents involving a vehicle travelling the wrong-way on a highway or road.
Police say they responded to 25 such incidents between October 5 and November 5.
There were five crashes as a result, with two people being killed in two of the collisions.
12 charges have been laid so far, two of which were for driving while impaired by alcohol and/or drugs.
OPP add there have already been 207 wrong-way vehicle incidents this year.
There were 182 in 2017.
Police say if motorists encounter a wrong-way driver, they should safely pull over and call 9-1-1.
