The KW Oktoberfest Parade committee is looking for your help to lead the parade to yet another successful year.

Alfred Lowrick, Executive Director, KW Oktoberfest explains what the volunteers will be doing.

"We are short of the sign carriers, believe it or not. The people that are in front of each of the entries in the parade. 12 to 15-year-old people tend to be the ideal fit for this. They've been participating over the last number of years and we're looking forward to adding another 30 to 40 people to that."

The parade will begin at 8:30 Thanksgiving Day morning.

The five kilometre route starts at the corner of Weber and Frederick in Kitchener, continuing down Weber until it ends at Bridgeport Road in Waterloo.

To volunteer for the parade, email volunteers@oktoberfest.ca.
