Police have arrested 10 people in connection with a massive, ongoing child pornography investigation.

Waterloo Regional and Guelph Police, along with several other forces, searched numerous homes and vehicles throughout Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, New Hamburg, Elmira, and St. Jacobs.

As a result, officers seized three firearms, cocaine, marijuana, and several electronic devices.

Ten people - who are between the ages of 19 and 63 -  face a handful of charges including possessing and accessing child pornography.

Police say they're working with Family and Children's Services to assist any minors who may have been associated with the suspects to check on their wellbeing.

The investigation continues, and further charges are anticipated.
