Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash in Waterloo

The crash involved a Hyundai Tucson and a Yamaha motorcycle

Waterloo Regional Police say charges are pending after a crash involving a motorcycle in Waterloo.

It happened at Erb Street and University Avenue West on Wednesday afternoon just after 12:30 p.m. 

Police say a 38-year-old Kitchener woman was thrown from a Yamaha motorcycle and sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the involved vehicle - a 59-year-old Kitchener man - was not hurt.

WRPS say their investigation is ongoing and they're asking any witnesses to the crash to contact them.
