Milo the dog, Libby the cat available for adoption after months of healing

The animals were found abandoned and in rough shape

You can help make it a very special Christmas for two animals.

Milo the dog is finally ready for his forever home. Milo was discovered wandering near Bluevale Collegiate in Waterloo in July.

The 10-year-old dog was in rough shape, suffering from several major infections and a condition called 'dry eye'.

Libby the cat was discovered abandoned in October with red, raw skin and significant fur loss.

After months of rehabilitation and care, the animals are both ready to be adopted.

However, due to the extreme neglect they've experienced and their conditions - they will need lifelong medication and special care.

If you're up to the task, you can call the Kitchener-Waterloo Stratford-Perth Humane Society at 519-745-5615.
