Canadian indie rocker Matt Mays will have a stop in Kitchener as part of his "Howl at the Night" tour this fall.
He will rock Centre In The Square on Saturday, November 9.
The tour promises to be a mix of a sweaty rock show and an acoustic theatre gig.
The shows mirror the concept behind his most recent albums. "Once Upon a Hell of a Time" and "Twice Upon a Hell of a Time" have the same track listing, but the former is electric and the latter is acoustic.
In a news release, Mays says to expect "an evening that will start off woody and mellow and finish electric and stormy."
Mays won Rock Album of the Year for "Coyote" at the JUNO Awards in 2014.
The former member of The Guthries was born in Hamilton, Ontario.
Tickets for the November show go on sale on Friday, June 14.
