A Kitchener man is facing a long list of charges in connection with several snow removal schemes.

The Break and Enter Auto Theft (BEAT) Unit made the arrest on March 8.

It followed several reports of seniors being targeted after hiring someone for snow removal.

Police allege when he wasn't paid what he thought the job was worth, he returned later and broke into their homes.

In one case, the suspect entered a home after being told to wait outside. Police say he became very aggressive and stole a large sum of money.

A 26-year-old man is facing charges including robbery and possession of counterfeit currency.

He's being held in custody and is due in court March. No name has been released.

If you have been a victim of this type of crime, police want to hear from you, you should call 519-570-9777.
