Construction season isn't over yet, and The Ministry of Transportation has just confirmed two major overnight closures are happening this Friday.

A spokesperson confirms to 570 NEWS that the Highway 8 eastbound on-ramp to the 401 eastbound will be closed starting at 11 p.m.

The work is expected to wrap up around 7 a.m. on Saturday.

Collector lanes are also set to be closed in both directions on Highway 85 from Frederick Street to just north of Wellington as part of ongoing bridge work on Victoria Street.

That's expected to happen from 9 p.m. on Friday to 6 a.m. on Saturday - although all of these times are still weather dependent.

A major closure on the 401 is also set for Monday night through Cambridge, as westbound lanes will be closed from Townline to Hespeler from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
