For years, Jonathan Sinden has struggled with mental health, specifically bipolar disorder 1.

He is now raising awareness with his new clothing line called Arthur Bane Apparel, which he hopes the brand will get men to open up about their mental health.

"So they can have these conversations because there's a lot of (men) that struggle with this and don't have the confidence to open up about their struggles," he said.

The name of his brand comes from two fictional bears that will follow the logo of a polar bear.

"The polar bear and Arthur Bane is something that I felt was catchy enough to have somebody wear (the brand) and stand up and someone else says 'hey that's cool!' and then have that person say 'the founder is bipolar and the brand gives back to mental health you should check it out'," Sinden mentioned.

Sinden added the journey to develop a clothing brand has been quite a passion project for him.

"Right now the envision is to get a clothing line launched that can help in mental health awareness," he said, "Eventually, there will be multiple launches to keep the conversation going."

Arthur Bane Apparel is set to launch in the fall, and hoodies, hats, and t-shirts will be available for purchase on the website in November.
