List of Remembrance Day ceremonies in the region

Thousands across Waterloo Region and Canada will pause to reflect and remember on Monday, November 11.

Here's a list of where the local Remembrance Day ceremonies will take place:

  • Kitchener - Kitchener Cenotaph, at the corner of Frederick and Duke - service will begin at 10:45 a.m., with the parade beginning at 10:15
  • Waterloo - Waterloo Cenotaph, 100 Regina St South - service starts at 10:30 a.m., parade starts at 10
  • Cambridge - Galt Cenotaph, 82 Ainslie Street - service begins at 10:30 a.m.
  • Cambridge - Preston Cenotaph, 615 King Street East - service at 10:15 a.m.
  • Cambridge - Hespeler, corner of Queen and Tannery - service begins at 10:30 a.m.
  • New Hamburg - New Hamburg Arena & Community Centre, 251 Jacob Street - service at 11 a.m.
  • St. Mary's - The Veteran's Gren Interpretive Area, corner of Spadina Road East and Glen Road - service at 11 a.m.

On Saturday, November 9, there will be a ceremony at New Dundee School, 1430 Bridge Street. It starts at 10:30 a.m.
