Liberal and Green party leaders stopping by in Waterloo Region

The federal campaign enters day six and the Liberal party leader is making a stop in Waterloo Region today.

Justin Trudeau will be giving his first one-on-one interview of the campaign, coming onto the Mike Farwell Show on 570 NEWS at 9:05 this morning.

Following the interview, Trudeau is set to make a policy announcement in Waterloo at the Sandowne Public School around 9:20.

Later on the campaign trail today, the Liberal leader will also appear at an elementary school in London, before heading to Windsor for a rally tonight.

Other candidates are busy on day six as well. Green party leader, Elizabeth May is touring Ontario's tech corridor, starting off in Toronto, before making stops in Kitchener and Guelph.

She will be stopping by the House of Friendship on Eby Street in Kitchener around 2:30 in the afternoon, before making an appearance at Kitchener-Centre Green Party Candidate Mike Morrice's office at 4 p.m..

Meanwhile, Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer is in British Columbia, and NDP leader Jagmeet Singh is in Quebec.
