KW Titans blown away by Hurricanes

The Halifax Hurricanes stormed out of the gate, and the KW Titans could not recover the rest of the way.

The visitors moved into the region, and came away with the 136-108 decision at The Aud Sunday afternoon.

This, after Halifax shot for 56.5 per cent from the field, good for a 41-19 lead after the first 12 minutes of play.

Justin Strings led the way with a double-double for the Titans, putting up a game-high 26 points to go along with 12 rebounds.

Mike Poole and Jordan Washington each had 25 points for Halifax.

The Titans have now lost two straight, and remain at the bottom of the Central Division at 15-19.

KW will fly up to Newfoundland for a pair of games against the St. John's Edge on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
