Kitchener driver charged in crash that took the lives of two children

It happened at the intersection of Perth Line 26 and Perth Road 122 on August 28

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment, Perth County Paramedic Services, and Perth East Fire Department responded to a two motor vehicle collision in the Township of Perth South shortly before 6:00 p.m. on August 28, 2018.  

The collision occurred at the intersection of Perth Line 26 and Perth Road 122, involving a minivan and a sport utility vehicle (SUV). The minivan was travelling northbound on Perth Road 122. The SUV was travelling westbound on Perth Line 26 at the time of the collision.

Mi-Kyung PARK-NADON, 39-years-old, of Kitchener has been charged with Fail to yield to traffic on through highway. 

The driver is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on a later date to speak to the charge.
