Kitchener man charged in connection with convenience store robbery

Regional police have arrested a 45-year-old Kitchener man following an armed robbery earlier this month.

It happened on January 9 at a convenience store in Kitchener on King Street East.

Police say the man entered the store, picked out his items, and then pulled out a knife.

No injuries were sustained in the incident, and the accused has been held for a bail hearing.

He's facing charges of robbery with a weapon, weapons dangerous, disguise with intent, breach probation, possession of weapon contrary to court order, and possession of property obtained by crime.
