Kitchener man among those charged in rash of roof-top break and enters

The break and enters happened in Waterloo, Halton, Hamilton, Peel and York

A Kitchener man has been arrested in connection with a string of roof-top break and enters in Waterloo, Halton, Hamilton, Peel and York.

Halton Regional Police say there were 13 reported break and enters and attempted break and enters since October 4.

On Monday, investigators with Halton Regional Police arrested three men.

They also executed three search warrants on homes and a rental car that resulted in the seizure of stolen property, break and enter tools, as well as a large quantity of cash.

Flamur Haziri, 30, from Kitchener, is facing six counts of break and enter.

The other two men facing charges are from Hamilton.

All will appear in court next month.

Police also say they're still trying to determine if other people were involved and/or if additional charges will be laid.
