You might be missing summer camps in this second last month of the season, but if you live in Kitchener, you'll be able to bring camp home.
Do-it-yourself summer programs are being launched today by the city.
Rent-a-camp-counsellor is a program where you select a location, then staff bring supplies and activities for a nature, sport or variety themed program.
Camp in a box is one of four themed boxes that gives materials and instructions for 10 projects for children to work on.
You can do the activities at your own pace, and they're meant to promote physical, mental and emotional health, in a social setting that you're comfortable with.
