The Grand River Conservation Authority has issued a water safety message as a low pressure system associated with Tropical Depression Gordon is expected to move into our area on Sunday.

The system is expected to move over the southern part of the Grand River, and could bring up to 75 mm of rain.

We could also see thunderstorms and winds Sunday evening into Monday morning.

No flooding is expected, however we may see higher flows and hazardous conditions along the watershed.

The GRCA says they will continue to monitor the storm, and will provide updates if needed.
