Firearms found during vehicle search in Guelph

A Cambridge man is now facing charges

A call about an impaired man had led to firearms charges in Guelph.

Police received the call around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Officers arrested a man on Preston Street for being impaired.

When they searched a vehicle, police found a rifle and shotgun, both were loaded. They also seized ammunition.

A Cambridge man, 65, is due in court in September.
