Fire crews are on scene in Woolwich trying to put out a barn fire with around 200 cattle reportedly inside.
Police tell 570 NEWS the fire broke out Saturday around 4:30 a.m. The barn and a nearby equipment shed both caught fire.
Wittick Road from Tillman Road to Sandy Hills Drive is closed while emergency crews work in the area. Police are asking drivers to find an alternate.
Deputy Fire Chief Dennis Aldous of the Woolwich Fire Department says all livestock were safely removed from the barn before the roof collapsed.
No word yet on what may have caused the fire.
Damages have been pegged over $500,000.
