Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in consultation with the regional health unit, declared an enteric outbreak at the hospital on November 30.
It's impacting Wing B, Level 4, as well as the Medicine A Unit.
As a result of the outbreak, visitor restrictions are now in place.
It means only one visitor per patient and those restrictions will continue until there are no new cases for five days.
The outbreak has impacted patients - symptoms include vomiting and diarrhea.
Cleaning and disinfection has been enhanced in those areas and precautions have been implemented for staff and volunteers.
CMH is encouraging those not feeling well to not visit their loves ones in hospital.
