Eight new local cases of COVID-19 from over the weekend

Region of Waterloo Public Health is reporting eight more cases of COVID-19, since Friday's report. 

There have been 1,393 COVID-19 cases in Waterloo Region, 89 per cent, or 1,235 of those cases are considered resolved. 

There are 39 active cases, and there has been a total of 52,326 tests conducted in Waterloo Region. 

There is one outbreak at Columbia Forest Long Term Care.

No new deaths related to the virus and the death toll stands at 119.
