We've all had a laptop or printer we wanted to destroy, but throwing them in the garbage is harmful to the environment.
A e-waste collection is happening in the west end of Waterloo Park just off of Westmount Road on Saturday, December 5 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
You're invited to bring laptops, computers, printers, phones, monitors, and more. If they work, they'll be refurbished and donated to charity. If they're broken, they'll be recycled.
The goal is to divert harmful substances from landfills and to make information and technology accessible to more Canadians.
