Driver facing impaired charge in connection with hit and run

A driver is facing charges after a suspected hit and run in Cambridge.

Police said a pickup truck allegedly hit a parked car around 4 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper and Hammet Street, then fled the scene.

Both vehicles were severely damaged.

Police located the driver a short time later.

A Cambridge man, 55, is facing a charge of impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene of a crash.

No name has been released.
