It's back to class today for students at Sir John A. Macdonald secondary school in Waterloo.

After being closed yesterday to allow for the repair of an electrical malfunction, the Waterloo Region District School Board says classes will resume at SJAM this morning.

Officials say the electrical system has been fully restored.

In a statement, the Board thanks students, staff and families for their patience.
