In response to the snow that hit the area, the Cities of Waterloo, Kitchener and Cambridge have declared that a snow event and overnight parking ban will come into effect tonight.
Starting at 11:59 p.m., residents must remove their cars from the streets by midnight or risk being towed and ticketed, and the ban will remain in effect for 24-hours until midnight of November 23rd.
Depending on the weather, the city may issue a follow-up parking ban to extend it for another 24 hours.
Removing your vehicles from the street will allow for safe and quick snow removal, and any overnight parking exemptions will not be allowed.

City crews are out clearing the roads and will continue throughout the night. Please be patient as crews work through the first heavy snowfall of the season. ❄️❄️ pic.twitter.com/klf6cg9qZu— City of Cambridge (@cityofcambridge) November 23, 2020
