It may not be winter yet, but there are plenty of winter activities coming up in Kitchener.
The city says their Christmas tree will be arriving at city hall on Tuesday, November 12.
It's being donated by the Snape family this year and it will make the journey to downtown Kitchener from their home in the Grand River North area, Tuesday morning.
Here are some of the events coming up in the next few weeks:
- Carl Zehr Square Outdoor Rink will open on Monday, December 2
- Christkindl Market will take over city hall from Dec. 5 to 8
- Christmas Fantasy opens in Victoria Park on Dec. 7
Admission into all events is free.
