Central Fresh Market is searching for local talent to transform its storefront.
The market is requesting artists decorate the brick exterior with positive messaging and/or a mural.
The building was recently tagged with the line, "As long as we eat animals, we will never know peace" which spurred the search.
Staff reached out to the community for recommendations via Twitter on Wednesday.

Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic put in his two cents by suggesting each panel be painted with a different theme.
Vrbanovic proposed featuring a local Indigenous artist, an artist from the region's African, Caribbean and Black community, a local high school artist and finally a well-known community artist, like Pamela Rojas.
Another Twitter user asked the market what the artist fee associated with this project would be.
Staff responded saying they are unaware of the typical artist fee for an 8' x 10' mural, but they require two to four of them on a canvas.
If you are an artist in the community looking for an opportunity, or know of an artist, reach out to Central Fresh Market.
