Cambridge driver charged after hitting pedestrian

A 65-year-old Cambridge man has been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.

The incident took place Friday morning at the intersection of King Street East and Westminster Drive North in Cambridge. 

Police allege the vehicle struck a 97-year-old male pedestrian while turning left on Westminster Drive North. 

The pedestrian was sent to hospital with injuries.
