Whip out your dancing shoes and get ready to boogie.
Bridges to Belonging is encouraging everyone to hit the dance floor Friday night for their fundraising event, Boogie for Belonging.
The event aims to help people in our community with disabilities.
"It's all about supporting an organization that is big on making sure that people have a sense of belonging, because we all know it's a basic human need and inclusion is a human right, and that's what they're all about," said Adele from CHYM 96.7.
They are hoping to raise $30,000 to remove financial barriers for youth, adults and seniors living with disabilities and their families.
Adele will be the emcee for the event, "It's going to be a giant party, a bunch of people getting together having a good time, and the Lulu's band with be performing."
The night is expected to be filled with food, drinks, games, an auction, and even a dance-off.
It starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Bingeman's Ballroom in Kitchener, and tickets are $50.
