1) Belmont Village Bestival

Belmont Village Bestival is a festival that brings local artists to the Village to celebrate music and other artistic expressions. This year, it's expanded into a 2-day festival, kicking things off Friday night with Bestival Day 1!
2) Monarch Tagging Weekend
September 14 & 15
Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory
Throughout the weekend, you can help tag hundreds of monarch butterflies and release them before they begin their 5000 km migration to Mexico! You can even sponsor a monarch, and track your butterfly as it makes the trip.
3) Royal Medieval Faire
Saturday, September 21st 11 am - 6 pm
Waterloo Park West
Now in its 22nd season, the faire is an interactive day consisting of vendors, hands-on displays, food & beverages, games, celtic music, magic, swordplay, ceili (old-fashion Irish dance), authentic costumes & decorations, plus much more.
The Royal Medieval Faire is a fun day for all ages!
4) Doors Open Waterloo Region
Saturday, September 21st
Locations Throughout Waterloo Region
You're invited to tour 43 noteworthy buildings, interesting places and heritage sites in Waterloo Region, many of which are not regularly open to the public. This year's theme for Doors Open is 'Water' and includes water-themed talks, walks, displays and activities for the entire family. Admission is Free.
5) Wellesley Apple Butter and Cheese Festival
Saturday, September 28 7 am - 4 pm
Village of Wellesley
If you want to get out of the city for a weekend, why not head to the beautiful countryside of Wellesley Township and take in the Wellesley Apple Butter and Cheese Festival. Start the day off with the Pancake breakfast, enjoy apple fritters, tours of the local apple cider mill, 100's of vendors, entertainment and more!
6) Culture Days Waterloo Region
September 27, 28 & 29

Get ready to #ExploreWR during Culture Days - a national celebration of arts and culture. Get hands-on and go behind-the-scenes at this area's museums, theatres, galleries, festivals and more.
