For the second time this year, the leaders of St. Mary's General Hospital, Cambridge Memorial Hospital and Grand River Hospital will be hosting a virtual town hall on 570 NEWS.
570's Mike Farwell will be hosting the three hospital presidents --- Lee Fairclough (St. Mary's), Patrick Gaskin (CMH) and Ron Gagnon (GRH) --- as they deliver an important update on the region's efforts to tackle COVID-19.
Farwell says it should be an engaging discussion.
"I think the first forum we hosted back in the spring provided a huge service to our listeners. Who knew we'd have to do it again so many months later?" says Farwell.
"But since we're definitely dealing with a second wave of COVID, I have no doubt our listeners will benefit again from hearing from our local hospital leaders."
The special one-hour program takes place Thursday night at 8:00 pm.
