Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region continues to lend a helping hand during the pandemic.
After using its delivery truck last week to help transport more than 20,000 face shields to hospitals in southwestern Ontario, Habitat’s helpers were back on the road on Thursday.
This time, it was to support the Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford-Perth, which has started an emergency pet food bank.
When a business in Brantford had nine skids of pet food to donate, Habitat was called upon to get the food from Brantford to Stratford.
The delivery was dropped off Thursday afternoon.
