Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 13 new cases of the coronavirus on Monday.
Five are due to close contact with other positive cases, seven are a result of community transmission, and one is related to travel.
It means there have been a total of 1,293 cases since March.
Another 16 cases are now resolved, moving that total to 1,085.
92 cases are active, which is four fewer than Friday.
Meantime, for the first time in almost a month, the region is reporting another death linked to the virus, meaning 116 people have now passed away.
An outbreak has also been declared over at Parkwood Mennonite retirement home.
Outbreaks remain active at Forest Heights Revera long-term care home and Sunnyside Home (long-term).
