Region of Waterloo Public Health is reporting 11 new COVID-19 cases from over the weekend.
Nine of the 11 are the result of community transmission.
Another death has also been linked to the virus, raising that total to 118, 95 of which have been related to an outbreak.
Meantime, there are now 48 active cases, which is five fewer than Friday.
Since March, there have been 1,344 cases of the coronavirus in the region.
Another 15 cases are now resolved, improving that overall total to 1,178.
There are also no active outbreaks here.
Waterloo Region's mandatory mask bylaw went into effect on Monday morning, which requests residents to wear a face covering in all public indoor spaces, public transit and in bus shelters.
Children under five, those with a medical condition, or disability are among those who are exempt.
