REGION OF WATERLOO
With the recent arrival of the AstraZeneca vaccine in Waterloo Region, in addition to getting the vaccine at participating pharmacies, some eligible residents are now able to get the vaccine from their primary care provider. This particular COVID-19 vaccine is being offered to eligible individuals aged 55 and older.
Primary care providers have a critical role to play in the vaccine rollout, including encouraging at-risk individuals to get the vaccine.
The AstraZeneca vaccine is currently available at the following primary care office locations. Patients of these practices who are eligible for the vaccine need to book their appointment directly with their primary care provider.
