Six new cases of COVID-19 have been reported by Region of Waterloo Public Health Friday.
That means 1,417 people have now tested positive since March.
For the second day in a row, the number of resolved cases held at 1,263.
That means the active case count jumped up to 35.
That number has climbed steadily all week, from the 24 active cases reported Monday.
There are no new COVID-19 related deaths to report, keeping that number at 119.
